Why is it that every single time any of us leave the cafeteria we smell like shit? Not only that, but why is that I find myself sick to my stomache after every single meal? It's pretty raw that we pay almost $9 a meal, for food that a dog wouldn't even touch. And how weak is it that I've heard people refer to the Cafeteria as "the plague."
We walk in to the cafeteria only to see the same old, rotten, hard pizza to the left, followed by rubbery noodles. The salad bar might be the only legit thing in there to eat from. I'm not saying its the employees faults at all, they do their jobs, and they do their best to keep it clean; but someone needs to do something about the lousy food we have to eat, soon.
Barry Bonds last night hit his 743 homerun of his career, and is 12 homeruns behind the legand Hank Aaron who hit 755 homeruns in his career.  What if Bonds goes past Hank Aaron, has he cheated the game of baseball with all of the steroid talk?  Will baseball give him recognition for his amazing accoplishment if he passes Hank Aaron? My opinion on this matter is that he never got caught actually taking steriods so how can you assume that he did?Â
First thing for Kobe...this wouldn't be a problem if he hadn't run Shaq outta town. Even a half-a-Shaq like he is is still a whole lot better than anything the Lakers have now. We'd be taking about the Lakers as championship material then.
To reality: Kobe needs help in a big way. He now understands that he's not a singular force that can will wins like he once thought. I don't know if Jason Kidd's the answer, but Garnett is a possibility for success. As a forward, Garnett will control an area of the court that Kobe doesn't, unlike Kidd, who'll be battling Kobe for shots from the back court.
Either way, Kobe needs support, but is REALLY willing to share the limelight?
After a long winter of snow and cold condititons its finally starting to look warm for a while now. When PSU gets nice out it seems like everyone is in a great mood, and I know everyone loves the warm weather, when its nice out you walk around campus everyone is outside enjoying the beautiful weather. Weather your throwing a baseball with a couple of your buddies or your just setting outside enjoying the fresh air. Well i hope this beautiful weather stays with us.
Josh Beckett for the Boston Red Sox is 6-0 as a starter this season for the sox. He is the first player since Roger Clemens in Red Sox history to start the season 6-0. Beckkett tonight had 7 strike outs gave up 6 hits and didnt have any walks. All of his pitches were working tonight he had a good brake on his curveball that he was just fooling the hitters with it. The sox have a great pitching staff with a lot of depth and with good pitching we know how far you can get in the playoffs, so I hope the sox keep it up.
Spring Fling!!! The biggest event at Plymouth state. Drop Kick Murphys is coming to town this saturday night. They are a punk rock Irish band. Spring fling is filled with different events on and off campus such as battle of the bands and the winner of that gets to play the opening act at the concert on Saturday. This should be a fun filled event for the PSU staff and students.
Once again the Flordia Gators have repeated not just two baseketball championships, but a football one too. A college basketball team has not repeated since the 1991, 1992 Duke Blue Devils. Last night the Gators played the Ohio State Buckeyes for the national championship, what is always kind of cool is that they played them in football for the national championship too. The Gators dominated the whole game, Ohio State in the second could hit the big three, and the Gators were just pounding them with threes and offensive rebounds, Ohio State couldn't get a break, just like the football the Gators came out on top for there back to back national championship in college basketball.
Gasoline prices out west are at 3$ a gallon and are expect to go up with the spring on its way. With gas prices going would you consider walking or even get bike and ride to were ever you have to go to save money with prices so high? Me personally I would definitely  watch my gas miles this summer when I get my car back. A lot of people who dealing with this problem right now have stop driving there so called gas guzzling cars. I think is going to cause a big issue if these kinds of prices make it towards the east coast, and a lot of people are going to be real up set with this issue. It kind of makes you think what is going on in the world for this kind of thing to happen. Some people might consider getting different vechiles that have better gas mileage or even switch over to hybrid vechiles to save money this is a big issue for some people. Also your going to have to work longer days and more hours to put gas in a car. How do you fell about this situation?
After the big Valentines day storm Jet Blue Cancled over 1,000 flights to many different destinations. A lot of customers were really upset about this whole situation. People were showing up to the airport having no idea that Jet Blue cancled all of there flights. Some people were waiting over ten hours to wait to get on there flight and head to there destination. My parents are with jet blue and dont wanna deal with what happen on valtenines day to them. How would you feel if this happen to you? Me personally I would be real up set if I was put in that situation. If Jet Blue was more orgainzed with this situation things would have gone much smoother for them and there customers. After this whole situation Jet Blue is going to loose a lot of customers after this whole situation a lot of customer are upset. Â
Everyone is talking about this big snow storm that we got on Valentines Day. Before the storm hit people were saying that it’s supposed to be the Valentines Day blizzard, and any time snow comes people tend to get real excited. Will school be closed? How much snow are we supposed to get? And also that it is first big snow storm of the year. Wednesday is winter carnival day to so this means that anyone who skies or snowboards will be at Loon, Cannon, or
Valley. When I woke up on Wednesday morning I looked out my window around 10 AM and there probably were 6 in of snow and it was coming down hard. That day I headed to
Mountain, it probably took us 45 minutes to get there and it usually takes 20 minutes to get there on a regular day. The highways were really bad it was covered in snow and you could only see a mile a head of you. When we finally got there it was the best snowboarding of the year there fresh powder and the snow was really coming down up there. When I got back the next big question is will there be class on Thursday, there was class but if you had class before 1100 you had no class. This was a really fun day and we ended up with 18' in of some good snow, they only thing bad was we missed this class.
